Rongchen Dai has a PhD from Peking Union Medical College and specializes in Clinical Laboratory Diagnostics. He also performs bioinformatics work for the China Hospital Invasive Fungal Surveillance Net (CHIF-NET) team.
During his time in the Barber Lab, he will focus on population genomics studies of Candida albicans and Candida orthopsilosis. His research stay in Germany is supported by a China Scholarship Council (CSC) fellowship.
